Speaking & Workshops

Building businesses that can grow and last.

I speak and teach about sustainable business growth, impactful business practices and the thinking behind how we build.

My perspective comes from starting businesses, making mistakes, learning from them and working directly with entrepreneurs through SỌKẸ Africa.

I bring those experiences into conference talks, practical workshops, panel conversations and company training, helping people examine their assumptions and make more informed business decisions.

What I teach

Sustainable business growth

Growth changes what a business needs from its founder, its people and its operations.

I explore how entrepreneurs can build the foundations to support that growth: understanding their customers, designing commercially sound offers, managing costs, developing delivery systems and reducing dependence on the founder.

For someone starting out, that might mean designing a viable business model. For an established entrepreneur, it might mean examining what needs to change before the next stage of growth.

The question running through it all is: can the business sustain what we are trying to achieve?

What I teach

Impactful business practices

The way we build affects people.

Our decisions shape the experiences of customers, employees, suppliers, partners and the communities around us.

I explore how commercial ambition can work alongside honest communication, fair value exchange and responsible leadership, including questioning practices we have accepted simply because “that’s how business works.”

These conversations connect principles to everyday decisions: what we promise, how we sell, how we treat people and what we do when things go wrong.

What I teach

Entrepreneurial thinking

Every business carries the assumptions of the people building it.

Some help us move forward. Others quietly become expensive problems.

I help entrepreneurs examine how they understand customers, recognise opportunities, respond to evidence and make decisions under uncertainty.

We work through the thinking behind the action, so people can approach their next decision with greater clarity.

How I work with an audience

Practical workshops

This is where I feel particularly at home.

Give me a board, a marker and time to work through ideas with the room. We’ll ask questions, examine examples and apply the discussion to real businesses.

Depending on the brief, participants might work on a customer profile, examine their offer, map a delivery process or identify what could break under growth.

I want people to leave with useful work they have started and decisions they can continue developing.

Conference keynotes

A focused exploration of an important business question, bringing together experience, practical examples and a clear argument.

My keynotes give audiences ideas to examine and perspectives they can carry into their own work.

Panel conversations

I facilitate and contribute to conversations about entrepreneurship, business growth and the realities of building.

I enjoy helping a discussion move from broad opinions into specific experiences, useful questions and lessons the audience can take away.

Company training

Sessions shaped around an organisation’s audience, objectives and business context.

We agree the scope together, with a practical focus on the commercial questions and decisions relevant to the people in the room.

You don’t need to arrive with a finished session title. We can work through the right focus together.
